A Presence Draws Near
(I cant remember when I wrote this.)
Silence settles in an unforgettable way,
Rain pours and the wind hurries through the open window,
It is dark except for the lightening that illuminates the sky,
Briefly the worlds seems to glow,
Time goes by slowly, only endless thoughts pass by,
Silent tears escapes into the present,
Though I know I secured them in the past,
My heart is an open gate now,
Unbearable pain that will never pass,
Though in time I will make it somehow,
The wind whispers secrets,
That cant be heard over the rage of the thunder,
The cable is dead, white noise plays,
The static speaks and it makes me wonder,
About the images the screen portrays,
I hear sirens in the distance,
Undoubtedly, the accidents was caused from the storm,
I still linger before the window without fear,
As an unknown form-
Or should I say, as an unknown presence draws near,
The presence reminds me of the wind,
It can not be seen'
Unless it wants to be,
My eyes are drawn to the flickering screen,
With a strike of lightening, the lights leave me,
The presence draws closer,
An I am trapped in front of the open window,
Tears take over,
There is no where to go,
And I know its over,

Hello there,
I love this poem and I am not sure why. It doesn't really hold any relevance to my life. I actually wrote this poem from a dream I had. It was kind of creepy and when I woke up, I was very hungry for some reason. Is that weird?
