What do you see when you look in the mirror? What do you think other people see when they look at you? When I look in the mirror I see a chubby and awkward girl who seems a lot younger than she is, maybe due to her lack of curves, but mostly she's ok. Sure you can see the little extra "baggage" she carries around, but no one is perfect. Then I wonder, while I'm looking into that same mirror, what do other people see? Random strangers on the street, what do they think when they look at me? They probably see me as a fat, thirteen year old girl who wears clothes that are too big for her, because she obviously is flat as a board. Where's the mirror that shows the actual facts about me? The mirror that says, "Look at this girl, she's almost sixteen, she's very intelligent, she has the ability to love unconditionally, she loves to act, she wants to be a nurse, she marches in the band, she has the best family, awesome friends and she is extremely self-conscience." Of course that mirror would also say, "She hates too easily, she cries too much, she's never been kissed, she's not a good actress, she is too dependent, she's clumsy, she lacks common sense, she hates her body, and she'll never be the best at anything." Since this mirror obviously doesn't exist, extra steps must be taken. We must spend longer on our hair, we must have the newest clothes, we must be awesome at something, we must be at least a C cup, and we must be only three inches thick. Does this really seem like a way to live?

I agree with you 100%!! People need t olook at theirself before they say stuff about other people. You seem like a very nice caring person but other people may not think that. Don't listen to the people who say mean things, block them out of your life, and open your ears and eyes to those people who are nice and look on the inside and not whats on the outside!
