I guess maturity does come with age
So I did something I thought I would never do....

I fell for a younger man. Not too much younger, just two years, but still younger none the less.  Even worse...

I let him dump me...twice.

Ok here's the story.  So I asked this boy ( the aforementioned younger man) to prom and he said yes.  We had a fun month and then about a week before prom he decided that his feelings for me had changed and he broke everything off. WOW... kind of alot to take it right? He still wanted to be friends, but honestly all I wanted was to forget he existed.  I soon learned that forgetting him was going to be impossible.  Why? Well, I still had feelings for him.  See, where he had decided in an instant that he didn't like me...my mind didn't work in an instant.  So I decided to try and be friends with him...slowly at first and then we moved to talking on the phone most nights.  Innocent enough right?  I treated him the same way I would any other friend.  The problem was I didn't see him as a friend...he was a crush and there was nothing I could do about that.

One day seemed to change everything.  A big group of my friends (including this boy) decided to go for a swim.  The ENTIRE day he was flirting with me.  Kissing my cheek or playing with my hair or cuddling with me on the towels.  I didn't want my feelings to come back, but he was pulling them out of me. So the day ended with a long embrace and the promise of seeing me again soon.

Hey, guess what????
I WAS FALLING FOR HIM ALL OVER AGAIN
So I decided that everyone deserves a second chance and I was willing to give him one.

The next week, my friend was turing 18 and decided to have a HUGE bash to celebrate.  I was uber excited to be able to see my guy again...oh and to see all my other friends too .  So I'm ready for this party.  I bought a new swim suit and made sure that I would look my absolute best for him.
Then two days before the party he asks my friend (the one throwing the party) if he can bring this girl he likes.

WHAT? SERIOUSLY?
He managed to do it AGAIN!! I hate that he is able to play me like this.

So what to do?  I obviously can't be his friend...but obviously he only wants to play stupid games with me.
Maybe I should take my friends advice... Her suggestion?
Wait outside his door and when he opens it.....Punch his man business.

So this sucks...but everything happens for a reason right?
