work is for suckers. but more importantly, i'm the jerk that lets my job walk all over me. the load was far too great for my tiny little dept to handle. in competitive companies, my dept has double, even triple the staff. then they had layoffs - another great move in the minds of the bean counters. and now, the strongest link to our withering chain has given her notice - my supervisor. boy - i gotta get out of dodge. why do workplaces think it's ok to work to death those that do a good job? they completely take advantage. why pay 3 people what i can get you to do for all by yourself? i get the dollars and cents of it, but it is bad business practice. why oh why can't i be independently wealthy? i'd like to be a lady that lunches. that could be my job. get the kids ready for school, straighten up the house, go out to lunch and discuss mundane projects, do something worthwhile in the afternoon, like Habitat for Humanity, fix supper for the family, and spend the evenings playing with my kids. oh well. perchance to dream

HELL YES finally someone who is exactly where I am. The harder you work, the more is expected.(for the same pay of course) While all the lazy dumb asses just punch the clock and take absolutely no initiative themselves. I am beginning to think they are actually the smart ones. They do nothing every day, but they're still around. I'm sick of busting my ass for nothing.
