Now let’s get to the ways to starting your blog. Some great sites are known for their blogger paradise like appeal! Try going to www.blogger.com, this site is very great and well known for giving you an easy one, two, three start up! Other sites worthy of mention are www.wordpress.com and www.typepad.com. If you are feeling adventurous and want a totally unique blog that you can add even more features try www.webs.com! This site allows you to not only build your own blog, but if you want you can start your own website for absolutely free! No strings attached! This is an easy alternative to getting started! Just go to one of these sites and get to blogging!
Now here is the part that many want to know quite often (and I don’t blame them).
How do you make money from your blog? I will advise that if you are getting into the blogging for fun then you may want to hold off on this section until later (but can’t hurt to read!). There are many associated areas in the internet that will be wonderful if not priceless to squeezing you a profit. Let me remind you though, the better and more detailed you write the more chance you have of gaining public interest and making money!
Let’s start by the basics. Sell your own product! Use the blogs to communicate to your readers about others using your product. Allow your readers to comment on your posts and provide room for other people to see the testimonials! You can create products easy at sites like www.cafepress.com, or www.lulu.com! These sites allow you to create and build your own products! Another site worth mentioning but can be expensive to pockets of the consumer is www.zazzle.com. Another way to make some money is start a member’s only blog that requires a membership fee. Use your public blog to create an interest for the membership blog. Get a sponsor! If you are getting some great traffic and dedicated readers then get some marketing going! Companies like Volvo, Nike, and Adobe have done this to increase promotion for their brands and get some products out there! Try affiliated sales opportunities! Are you planning to maybe write a book or movie review? Add your www.amazon.com affiliate link and play with the reader on how this product has worked or changed the way you do business. Add a link so they can buy it immediately!
