 Sleepys
Can someone tell me if they have experienced the same problem with sleepys?

Not so sure that spending more at a sleepys store will mean that your mattress will last for years. Let me tell you my story: I bought a Chattam & Wells set from Sleepys on Long Island about five years ago. I received a 20 year guarantee with this sleep set. I thought I was buying a very good sleep set until last year when our sleep was less restful and the mattress had some deep depressions (about 2”). I called sleepys and they sent an inspector. The inspector took pictures and measurements. We were told that the depressions were indeed a defect in the mattress and it would be replaced. Spent some time at the showroom because the sleep set was discontinued by Chattam & Wells. Picked out the top of the line C & W set and got a delivery date. When the new set was delivered the delivery men adamantly said they needed to inspect the mattress before they would bring in the new set. Low and behold they found a stain on the mattress that the inspector said was normal use. They informed us that this voided the warrantee. They went out to their truck and called sleepys who in turn called us and informed us that we need to pay for the mattress our warrantee was voided by any stain on the mattress. I protested because their inspector said that the 1/2 inch stain was considered normal use. I found the warrantee card that was given to us when we bought the sleep set and it said unsanitary condition may void the warrantee. I submit that a small stain after five years of use is not an unsanitary condition. I would also submit that sleepys is playing the old bait and switch game. Say they will replace any problem mattress but put a condition on replacement that would render any replacement warrantee void. Sleepys said any stain will void a warrantee. This will void every warrantee they offer unless you wrap the mattress in plastic, which by the way would void the warrantee.
