Mikah Malice Update 5/15/08

Uh-oh!
Am I in for trouble?
Most definitely.

Over this last weekend,
As the one beforehand,
I went and spent Friday and Saturday night with Katie.

Well,
Just two weeks earlier we were given progress reports,
and let's just say my grades were...lacking...at best.
When I recieved it, I simply stuffed it in my backpack and forgot about it with no idea in the world to show my parents.

While at Katie's,
My parents decided to do a bit of snooping.
They went into my backpack,
Found the report and erupted.
This was either Friday night or Saturday morning.
Well when I was called on Saturday,
My sister had beforehand told me they'd found it,
Via Myspace.
They tried not to let on they knew so they could catch me by surprise when I came home.
I told them I wasn't coming home, and was staying another night.
You can bet I tried my best to have the time of my life that night, because when I got home I had hell to pay.
They jumped all over me,
While I sorted out lie after lie to tell them,
To simply get them to chill out.
In the end they took my internet access, phone, video games and the outside world in general.
However, They're new to punishing a child, so when the disconnected my internet,
they left the cable mere feet from the wall.
So, when it gets dark each night, I sneak in,
Reconnect it and indulged, at least until the sun would rise.

Today,
My parents are coming to school to discuss grades and attendance in the front office. Quite honestly, I'm terrified to go home.
They're going to be so upset.
If things get too difficult,
I might bail.
So, to those reading,
If I knock on your door asking to stay the night...
Don't be surprised.
