Lately, i've been into research and i've said that in my last blog.
But when people don't do their research or just look at one resource and assume it is completely true ... that ... That just pisses me off.
It's an angry world we live in because we have to be right about everything "on the spot". People can't wait to just prove someone wrong, even if they're wrong as all hell.
I will tend to grab three or more resources to just cross referrence.
Oh, my favorite thing is when people do the research but cannot take other factors into account.
Like if I say that the oldest anorexic women was 32. Go ahead, go research that on google and you will find 80 year olds dying from anorexia.
When I say what I did, the woman died because she had a longer stride of anorexia.
Those older folks you find on google end up being anorexic in their older ages, meaning they did not have it their whole life.
"I just saw something about a women who died at 40 somethin' from anorexia !!"
Like that's ANY better ?
Yesterday I said the 32 year old bit to prove a point. To scare some sense into a girl.
All of a sudden, it's a war about anorexia and death ages.
What i'm saying is ... Do your damn research.
Want people to take you seriously ?
Know what the hell you are talking about and people will take you seriously. You can trust me on that.
Now, i'm not saying you have to love doing research, but it's best if you want to be taken seriously.
Personally, I LOVE learning. I will read articles for hours on end for the fun of it.
