Without God, you can do nothing. You'll have to find that out, for yourself.

I've done just fine without him, thank you.

A) Define God.
B) Please give some form of credible evidence to the existance of God
c) Please tell me why God would create an imperfect species, and then bash us for being imperfect.
D) How is it that God can control everything and yet we still get to choose to sin?

If you can't answer all of these questions to my satisfaction, then you are an idiot, and shouldn't have commented.

A) I am God.
B) I am replying to your stupid comments on a blog.
C) I needed something to laugh about. Besides, not my fault you're all morons. I'm hoping all of you kill yourselves way before I decide to do so. That'll give me a good laugh. I haven't had a good chuckle since Lucifer flipped me off and thought he could take my place.
D) I had to give you some kind of freedom, didn't I?

"I really won't tell you that there will be a mystical pillow of comfort because God loves you. Sometimes there isn't that pillow of relief."

Wow...how much truth there is in that statement! I'm a Christian and I hear that loud and clear. You got it...me to mine and you to yours and if you wanna know, you will ask...fair enough??

So, are you against beliefs in general or just the beliefs of Christians? Wouldn't it be fair to attack all belief systems?

Here's my take on beliefs:
http://www.thoughts.com/MisterSelfDestruct/blog/412 746/

I think it's better to have ideas. You can change an idea. Changing a belief is trickier. Life should malleable and progressive; working from idea to idea permits that. Beliefs anchor you to certain points and limit growth; new ideas can't generate. Life becomes stagnant.

This is an open forum so I have to comment, sorry. You cannot play your game on somebody else's football field and not expect them to return the favor. If you didn't want to hear all that stuff you should have stayed away.
It's not a matter of being able to get along without God, a paraplegic can get along without legs but is it the best life possible?
Anyone who believes blindly without some evidence or proof is foolish and equally as foolish are those people that think nothing can be learned from those with whom they disagree.
There are many ways to do a thing but there is only one truth, the question is who's truth and what proofdo they have.
I agree with you that you shouldn't feel singled out or like a "sheeple" (good word) but to compare all alledged truth as similar or all groups stereotypically is adiservice to everyone and even yourself. Prayer meeting are generally not for the public and you picked the wrong time to attend, can't blame them for your timing.
To use the football analogy again- Never having heard of football if I heard someone touting the greatness of the sport or asking me to attend the huddle (read prayer group)I would think they were nuts too if I didn't understand the game, its rules or the journey the players took to get to the opinion they share.
You are right to feel an outsider because you are, but its not because they are trying to be exclusive, since truth is by definition exclusive yet people are not, they may have tried to involve you the only way they knew how. Nobody can be brought up to speed that way, they needed to start with why they chose the sport and love it (tesimonies), then proceed with the rules and finally involving you in the game if you were so interested.
Trying to find fans for the game is not an ominous thing unless you inject it into the motives of the players who are just as happy to move on and find someone who is interested.
I don't pray for those who can pray for themselves or who do not ask for it and genuinely believe in the power of prayer or its principle players (read God), so if your not offended I'm not.

As i've said before, i've done great without him. I've seen quite a lot in my 16 years and I can say that I do not need a spiritual crutch. Nor want one.
Don't want to be mean, but I had to be blunt.
