My Shadow and I would like to say Hello to Everyone (and maybe one or two in between) at Thoughts.Com.. Surfing along the Magical Mystery Tour of the Internet, I came upon Thoughts by chance and thought to give it a try. At my age (53), blogging remains a mystery (indeed, the entire computer world remains a mystery) and I always risk the chance of modest success or, quite frequently, total failure. I've had a few Blogs, one or two web sites and have belonged to several Forums that were severe disappointments...both to me and (I would imagine or assume) to my readers. I hope that this doesn't happen at Thoughts..
I was born in New York City and have lived most of my life here. Music is my first love and is my primary reason for living. Piano (classical and jazz) influences the way I see life and is the motivation for what I write and how I write; it's not always good but is sincere and personal. Much of what I intend to post will relate to NYC: the people, places and things that comprise this insanely beautiful metropolis; the love/hate relationship I've always had with this city. While I'm certainly NOT F.Scott Fitzgerald, I hope to bring something of interest your way for your reading enjoyment...and mine.
My Shadow (who always follows me around, planting the pitfalls and pratfalls for my intellectual chaos) tells me that it's time to close. Thank you for listening, until we meet again. Ciao.
