| Time. (a poem) |

TIME
In the stillness of night
Time tick-toes away.
Her chimes inaudible
'Gainst the back-drop of silence.
Measured minutes dissolve
Into liquid hours.
Days drip through the mesh
Of human understanding.
As though mercury,
She pours herself away
Through portals in the floor
Of the House of God.
Time, Breathes Out.
And in the void, Pure Love.
The Divine cloth of humanity,
The fabric of our souls.
An Eternal Now pervades,
This still-point of Existence.
A breathless realm of possibility,
Glittering, formless potential.
And in the stillness of night,
Under the canopy of Heaven;
With God as our witness,
We Breathe In.
