| The Goddess of Death and Rebirth

Ceridwen... the ancient Welsh celtic Goddess of death and rebirth. She stands at the gateway between this world and the next. This is why I chose her beautiful name for my little miracle... my rescue cat who arrived home on Sunday after a long and arduous sugery on a closed pyometra. The condition was the worst the veterinary had ever seen, prompting him to take video of it on his mobile for us and his students to see.
Her frail life hung in the balance all this week, but just yesterday we saw the improvement we craved and I think we're on the road to recovery. Happily, we're all healers here and she's soaking up heaps of healing energy (I've never felt my hands burning and 'pulling' quite so hard)... she takes what she needs, then nudges me away when she's had her fill.
Ceri (pronounced Kerry) is a little star and such a sweet soul. the energy in our house has become feather-light since she picked up on Wednesday... she lifts us all with her friendliness and love.
Sorry I've not written for a few days but as you'll realise, when I've not been asleep, driving the lads large and small to work/school etc etc, then I've been kitty-sitting.
She's a sweetheart. Hugs, Merlyn xxx |
