My little rescue cat is now eating properly, maybe for the first time in years.
She's learning how to play and what a scratching post is... I'm not sure she's ever encountered either (poor thing).    The most pitiful thing... she opens her mouth to miaow but barely makes a sound.  I did hear her purr yesterday for the first time, but again it was very subdued.
I know she has a voice on her because she was the loudest in the cat room at the rescue centre.
Time... it'll all take time.
