It is always difficult to describe myself because I am a very private person. So I decided not to talk too much about myself and it is about what I am going to say in my blog!
I am a first generation Chinese American, so my blog will be written in English most of the time, My English is not so good and please bear in mind, sometimes even when I use spelling check, it does not pick up the wrong use of the word which is really my weak point! (So I use "husband check" a lot.)
I lived in Portland, Oregon for 16 years and moved here to Dayton 3 and a half years ago. My husband works in Carson City, so it works out for us in this small town of Virginia City foothills.
The first part of the blog is about food and recipes. I am a strict vegetarian, which means all the recipes will be vegan. My friends and family always wonder what I eat since I became a vegan. There will be desserts and ethnic food that is not necessarily Chinese. Now I can share these with them, and with you too.
Next are my thoughts of the day in general, also some dharma thought. Recently I've included the music I love -- opera arias, classical, baroque and world music.
Life in Dayton is quiet and uneventful. After David is at work, there is only my cat Tigger to keep me company. You can see her in the profile photo. She is much cuter than me. My blog is a way that I can share my life with you all. Hopfully you will no longer wonder what I do everyday anymore. Please send me a message.
Spring is coming and I hope you will feel much better soon! (posted in

I may add a Chinese old saying about a good wife should also be a good cook! Satisfy a husband's stomach is as important as good in bed!! LOL (posted in
Five Reasons For Divorce)
Good advise! In a way, I think men are territorial! Even I am able to move things around the house without my husband's consent, but I'd better not touch "his things." without talk to him! LOL! (posted in
