| If I Was Elected Your President |
If I was elected your president,
Our country would sure be a mess.
I wouldn’t write down any laws,
Instead, you’d all have to guess.
I would order more sunshine on Sundays,
And days off in the middle of the week.
I’d drop taxes on toys, but only for boys,
And on weekends, no parents could speak!
I’d make Froot Loops our national breakfast,
And Yoo-Hoo our national drink.
On days when I’m lazy you might call me crazy,
But I’d make it illegal to think!
The White House I’d paint green and purple,
Or maybe bright yellow and blue.
And I wouldn’t much care to have offices there,
Just a swimming pool, gym, and a zoo.
Yeah, I might like to be Mr. President,
At least for a weekend or two.
But I really would miss doing dumb stuff like this,
So that’s why I’m voting for YOU!!!
