Ok, so it won't be a week, just a couple hours...
The movie we saw tonight was Cloverfield... it's about Manhatten getting attacked by... something (a big ole' monster, you never really find out what it is or where it came from). It's kind of like the Blair Witch Project, if y'all remember that travesty. But I wouldn't label Cloverfield a travesty- actually, it was pretty decent (except that it maintained the homemade movie element-the camera was all over the place and made me sick to my stomach, so I couldn't look at the screen for very long). Unlike the Blair Witch Project, this movie had a pretty good plot, and yet it was still believable as a tape some amateur made. Also, there were some funny moments-realistic comic relief. All in all, I liked it, and if your stomach can handle the camera work, I'd suggest you go see it!
