| Holidays and Dates...Should they go together? |
Firstly....I hope all of my buddies here at thoughts had a wonderful holiday and continue to enjoy the rest of the year.
I have been slacking in the blog department these past few weeks. Work has been insane and I may be re-locating to Detroit. Not my first choice, but I feel the change will be good for me. I have never been to Michigan, but cant wait to meet the Rock City!!!
Although my work related stress is no excuse...tons have been going on in the life of maura.
I got my ugly cast off and have been on a few dates. Although they were decent and nothing horrific happened, i will prolly not continue.
Date 1: This was the guy who actually caused me to break my wrist in the first place. He ran me over in a parking lot...then asked me on a date. Since I am newly single and need to eat I accepted after tons of persuading. He is a mail man and I like men in uniforms so.....
It was no horrible, like I say. But he was more like a Buddy type...grap pizza and beer to watch a game. Nice guy...besides that fact he did run me over.
Date 2: A probation officer that I met out on the town. Very attractive!!! Has a great dog and love to Kayak (which is my favorite hobby). He was very nice. we went for coffee and click. I thought this one was gonna be trouble for me. But even after an amazing date and a few phone conversations I am just not into dating right now. I just dont have the energy to be my charming self...if I have that side anymore. hahaha
So I am just going to fill my nights with books and wine! And Plan a possible move to Michigan.
