the phone was ringing loud, I picked it up and said “hello”.
a guy told me who he was and what firm he was working for.
we talked for a little while, he said “yes” but I said “no”.
he began to shout, I said “this can’t be the key to open a door”,
and I asked him “who is your angel, who is your leader too.
we got one who escaped from his talking the whole day through,
and he was known all over the world in world war two”
.
I must have shocked him the way I made myself clear,
for it suddenly got quiet on the other side of the line.
he must have been taught in history and now he must be in fear.
I must have reminded him of a frightfully deadly sign,
and I asked him “who is your angel, who is your leader too.

without saying anything he hung up the phone,
my words must have left him speechless.
I knew that words is the modern way somebody to stone,
that words can somebody erase I did never guess
.
I hung up the phone a second later and headed for the fridge,
wondering what can I expect from a world like this.
I could never get that guy in world war two and act like a midge,
for I knew at heart I was really nobody to hug and kiss,
and I asked him “who is your angel, who is your leader too.

history reproduces itself once and once again.
it’s just another time upon another level
I know it for years you should feel it like sorrow and. pain,
