Why Does Blockbuster Suck?

So the CEO of Blockbuster was recently quoted as saying that the reason Blockbuster isn't doing well right now is because of "...the quality of movies today." Really? That is why Blockbuster sucks? I am pretty sure it sucks because they are way overpriced and their DVD service is not nearly as good as that of Netflix's. They just focus on the bottom line and forget to provide something that is good for the customer. So yeah, Blockbuster does suck and yeah some movies do suck, but Blockbuster is suffering because of their own bull crap not just the state of movies coming out today. I mean if they think movie are so bad why don't they carry just independent movies?
