What a tragic story, I truly am sorry for your great loss! What happenned to your daughter is the worst thing imaginable for any parent. Unfortunately it happens with alarming frequency. Does it seem to you that as parents we're told not to "over react" to stuff we see going on with our kids, or to stand up against what society see's as the little things that "all kids do" nowadays. If you could go back in time, what if anything would you do or act differently toward in raising your daughter that you feel might have prevented this tragedy? Please understand I'm not judging you or blaming you in anyway, that would not only be cruel but it would be pointless as well. What I'm trying to do is help you heal by maybe helping other parents to understand the importance of dealing with small things so that BIG things don't have as much of an oppourtunity to happen. Stating a blog would be an excelent way to do that! Again, I apoligize to you if this reply seems insensitive to you in any way, I can't imagine the pain you are going through and I would never want to pour salt in your wounds...but through your daughters tragedy other young girls might be spared.

hey , thanks for your insightful comment, and no, I didnt feel you were judging me, but were sincere and very comforting, actually, in your point about what I would have done differently. Its good to know there are still good people like you out there, I hope I can help any one else who's been victim of such cruelty. again, thanks
