Is it “war path” or “warpath”? I don’t know but that’s what I’m on!
Last night, my sister sends me text message asking if I was home. I, unfortunately, was not. I was just about to get my hair trimmed. It needed it badly. It hadn’t been cut since I donated back in November. Anywho, after the trim, I check my phone again & have a message from her telling me that she needs to talk. Oh oh! So, I call her up & I could tell that she had been crying, she tells me that she will meet me at my house. She gets to my house & tells me right away that the Brewer tickets we had for August 9th, are no more. The guy decided that he was going to keep them. What?! Melinda had the money all ready for him & then he pulls this! I should have known, I dated his younger brother over a year ago & he was a total douche, I guess the douche doesn’t fall far from the Douche Tree, huh?
I go into damage control & tell Melinda that we are gonna go out to her place & look for new tickets. It took us about two hours to decide on some & I made the executive decision to get them. They aren’t as good as the last ones but we have found some good points to them…
1. They are right by the Miller Beerpen. The Beerpen is a section of the stadium reserved for bars around the state. They announce the winning bars during games & they have to call in to get their tickets. So, these should be some party people!
2. They are closer to the margarita stand. Which is a huge plus! In the other seats, we would have had to walk all the way across the stadium. That doesn’t sound like much fun!
3. If any of the players hit a HR, they’ll most likely hit it right at us. I’ll have to get my glove ready to go cuz I wanna catch that HR off of Corey or Ryan’s bat! Hell yea!
So, seems good, right? Oh, how I would like to bunch that guy right in the nuts! Grrr…
“Don’t want to forget how it feels…”
