| Just Some Random Friday Morning Stuff...

OMG! It’s only 10:00 in the a.m. & I’m already ready for the weekend to begin & it won’t begin until 4:00 in the p.m. Oh jeez. I’m gonna go batty today, I can feel it already. My MP3 player wore it’s battery out – already! I just put a fully charged one in last night. Rechargeable batteries are crap! I’m not even kidding you. Thought I could save some dough with the rechargeables. Boy was I wrong. I didn’t even get through “Show Me What You Got” by Limp Bizkit before it pooped out! Grrr!
I keep looking at my stack of work & then to the row of files to close out & I don’t want to do either one! Boring! If I wasn’t working, I don’t know what else I would be doing but all I know is that I wouldn’t be working.
So, I have a tentative date with the potential new boy tomorrow night. Nothing real exciting, just watching the Patriot-Giant game (Go Patriots!) & maybe having a couple of drinks. With or without him, I’m gonna be watching that game, gotta see my boys go for a perfect season. Awhoo hoo! Anywho, I’m kinda nervous as he is another younger guy (I had some bad luck earlier this year with a younger fellow – who I was setup with by the same two gals). I know that he is not this other douche but it’s really hard not to compare. However, this one has blonde hair & I tend to have better luck with blonde haired guys than the dark haired ones (which is usually what I’m more attracted to). So weird. We’ll see what happens. I swear though, if this guy doesn’t work, I’m done with guys…for the year. Ha, ha! ;)
Other than that nothing really to report. Christmas was good. I got lots of nice gifts. However, I did have to go out & order Dirt on my own – nobody got it for me & that was number one on my list! Got to spend time with the fam, which I totally love doing, especially with my two cousins. I didn’t venture over to my dad’s as I was not invited. My sister gave me Hell for it but I wasn’t going to go over without an invite to pick up a $10 giftcard. Not worth it! So, all three of my siblings went over to my dad’s while I stayed at my mom’s & made dinner for her & my stepdad. One would think that a father would want to spend time with all of his kids on Christmas. Nope, guess not. However, as he pointed out during his divorce from my mom, “I’m not his biological kid”. Yea, thanks, you’re great! :p & people wonder why I have issues with the male species. Wow, I totally went off on some weird tangent there…
The workplace has been rather peaceful due to the fact that Chatty has been off this week (the whole three days). Thank God that my MP3 player pooped out today rather than Wednesday when we’ll be back & Chatty will have lots & lots to chat about. Azon still annoys the Hell out of me but no real good stories to share as of yet. But now that I have said that, she will annoy me in some tremendous way that I will have to share. Also, Rhino has been out all this week. That has been super. He isn’t here pissing me off. I wish everyday could be Chatty & Rhino free. Ha, ha!
Well, I better do some work…or look through the Cabela’s catalog that just came in for The Pod. I saw some really killer boots that I want. I could never afford them but it’s nice to pretend. :)
