Most memories are endless
they become a part of you
some seem to fade away
and others stick like glue.
The day our heart feels love
like nothing ever felt
makes you want to dance around
like butter, your heart melts.
When the love is taken from us
or broken like a twig
you want to run away and hide
a hole you want to dig.
At times we often ask ourselves
what did I do so wrong?
How could I let this happen
and how can it just be gone?
Although memories are endless
never doubt within your soul
some things were never meant to be
for now we must let go.
