I hate to say this but as a mother I agree with shemelts. I have refused to let Kaylie's father have time with her when other people I didn't know were with him. I've refused to let him see her in MY house when someone I didn't know came with him. I've gone to get her when she called me and said other people were over. you never know with people. I mean they can seem nice enough and have a sordid past. Just my thought from a mother's point of view.

lol fat head nugget!!! love it. I lost weight too when I was first pregnant..mainly because I threw everything up...I didn't even have to eat it, I could just smell it.
That was all shot to hell near the end..I ended up ballooning out like 60 more lbs...wanna talk about a fat head nugget?!?! Kaylie weighed 9lbs..yup....

I speak as a parent when I say you don't realize how much even a change in mood affects your child until it's already said and done. Maybe you mother doesn't realize that what she's saying is affecting you the way it is. She probably has no intention of doing that at all.

I have prayed with my daughter from a very young age. Her father didn't understand it, but he couldn't say much on the subject. The man I'm dating now while he doesn't pray on his own, he respects ua and prays with us. My daughter has started saying prayer before we eat, whether it be @ home or in public. All I can say is start when you're ready. You're never too young for God!
