A warning before you read any further :  I'm not very userfriendly today.  Actually I'm in quite a pissy mood & I have no particular reason for blogging today....Consider yourself warned.


I mentioned a few blogs back about a date.  I'm sure you're wondering if it ever actually happened, especially considering I haven't said another word about it.  Well it did, all is well in my world.

It's a guy that's been trying for awhile and I just never gave him a second look.  We're such good friends and I really just didn't want to jeopardize that.  It's happened before, I didn't want it to happen again.

Anyways, he took me to the best restaraunt ever.  The Melting Pot.  It's fondue.  It rocks.  You eat for like 3 hours straight.  Who can argue with that?  Plus for dessert they bring you a big pot of melted chocolate and stuff to dip in it.  Who am I to complain?!?  Lol.  Then we kinda walked around Market square and got something to drink.  It was a really nice time.  He's great.  He's awesome actually.

I think we're going out this weekend.  It's actually gonna be something we can do with Kaylie.  Before you ask, no I don't have issues with that.  She's used to him being around anyway.  He's been the only male in her life that has been a permanent fixture.  She will not however know anything different than what she has.

So yes, I'm excited about this.  Who would have thought?  The professional bachelorette in a pseudo-relationship type thing.

A little update on the ex in jail.  I assume he's out although I'm not certain.  He hasn't called.  (I just raised both arms inthe air and yelled woo-hoo, just for visual reasons)  SO who knows.  He's probably gotten out and started smoking crack again.  He'll probably call when he's out of money hoping I'll bring him some.  I got news for him.  Not gonna happen.

I took Nimbles (the ferret) to pet smart last night to get him some toys.  Mainly something to sleep in besides his litter box.  I'm still not sure why he likes to sleep in there.  He wont use it for it's intended purposes, meaning he shit's everywhere else in his cage.  Fine, I'll clean it up until he learns.  What I don't get is I've caught him just in time and put him in his litter box, so it's got the scent in it.  he's just a stubborn ass I guess.  At least he's not shitting all over the house.
Anyways, I got him a fish bed/toy.  It has crinkly stuff in it and a bell.  Well he loves that damn thing so last night at about 2 or so in the morning I hear him get up and drink some water.  Which out of a water bottle is extremely loud that early in the morning, then he crawled back down to his fish.  Crinkle, crinkle, ring ring.  That's all I heard until I guess he wore himself out and fell back asleep.

Cathy's back today.  (yeah!)  Cause it got crazy around here yesterday.

Anyways, that's about it for today...I've discovered this whole playlist thing so I think I'll have a song for the day.
