Well, my first period class went back to being their usual selves this morning after a wonderful performance on Friday of "Let's behave while the Principal is here".  On Friday they were all quiet and attentive, they listened to me, they didn't question my directions, they politely told their classmates to be quiet and listen if they even hiccuped, essentially, it was wonderful. Today...not so much.  Today we were back to the complaining, e-mail checking, griping, whining, talking, spacing out, and everything else that can possibly happen to make my life hell.  So in the middle of an activity, I stopped and asked them to turn in their papers (that was something they weren't going to do earlier).  I asked them "who is officially bored with this activity?" and they all essentially raised their hands, which prompted me to say "Good.  I don't care." Then I sort of went off on them.  Which pretty much ruined my day.  Then during second period (which is my plan period), I had a kid come in to use the computer in my room so I couldn't play my angry music out loud on the computer that usually calms me down... So, I felt like today was pretty much going  downhill...then third period started...and now there is a discussion about sodomizing a dog...
