The students are restless...the teachers are restless...and it's 7 days into 2008.

I have Senioritis for my students.

Apparently, when you're a teacher, your family thinks you need globes. This is untrue.

I was highly unimpressed with my Spanish phrase-a-day calendar because the first five days of the new year it told me how to say things related to new years resolutions and losing weight.

Today it redeemed itself a little bit because it told me that the color tv was invented in Mexico.  That was nice.

I have to say that it is nice when you go to the principal and tell her things just so that she is aware of the situation, and then she completely takes over the problem and you don't have to deal with it.  But it seems like I wasted sleep over it for no good reason.  Oh, well, I'm not getting yelled at by a kid today :)

I enjoy making pinatas, and my kids enjoy it, but I miss teaching them stuff.  I will probably not have the same sentiments in a week.
