Story part... what is it, now???
Yay! My cast came off today, so I'm so freakin' happy!!! Sorry 'bout the title, I lost track... Is it 14 now? I'M SO CONFUSED!!!! Not too confused to forget to write the story, though:

Evelinthia and Kaya wandered down the halls, talking and laughing. They were having a really good time. It had only been about an hour, but it felt like much, much longer. They felt like they had known eachother since they were both little kids, and had been friends since then.

Vlad helped a staggering Artemis walk down the hall. With one of Artemis' arms around Vlad's shoulders, they turned a corner, looking for Kaya and Evelinthia. Everyone was surprised when they ran into eachother at the corner.

The girls looked at Artemis, then back at eachother. Artemis was holding a bottle of liqour, just as they had expected. Kaya and Evelinthia both burst out laughing. Vlad smiled at them. "What's the joke?"

Kaya looked at the dark elf and smirked. "You don't drink, do you?"

"No," he replied.

"Then you don't have to worry about it." Kaya walked to the other side of Artemis and put his other arm around her shoulders.

"We should get him to his room," said Evelinthia. "He can sleep the alcohol off. Follow me."

Vlad, Kaya, and (though against his drunken will) Artemis followed Evelinthia down the hallways. Artemis, apparently, had taken to a bar tune he had picked up somewhere. He sang it very loudly, much to the dismay of the servants cleaning various items in the hall.

After what seemed like a very long time (and Artemis' singing didn't help much), they reached a large bedroom with an equally proportional bed. Artemis immediatly left the care of Vlad and Kaya and sat down on the bed, still swaying uncertainly. "You wanna know what?" he said, his words slurring together. "You, Lady Kaya, are a very beautiful woman..."

Kaya blushed. The words didn't mean much coming from a drunken fool, but that didn't stop her from feeling embarrased.

"I think..." Artemis began. He took another swig of the wine before speaking again. "I think you should be with him!" He pointed at Vlad. "You should be together!"

Kaya and Vlad didn't look at eachother. They both were thinking the same thing, "Shut up, you drunken fool!" But that didn't stop Artemis.

"You both... You worry 'bout wha' others'll think of ye..." With every drink from the wine bottle, the drunk's words became more slurred. But that didn't stop him from talking. "You should get married!" He said this last word in a little sing-song voice, laughing at some joke that no-one else heard. Artemis took another swig from the bottle and, as he did, fell back into the bed.

"You two should probably go, before he gets back up," warned Evelinthia. "Otherwise he'll probably try to follow you."

Vlad and Kaya nodded, turned, and left. Artemis sat back up, his eyes glazed, and a smirk on his lips. "Is she-?"

"Yes," replied Evelinthia to the unfinished question.

"You're sure?" His drunkeness seemed to have left his body. Artemis was perfectly normal and sane as he was before the wine, if he was normal or sane to begin with. "How can you tell?"

Evelinthia held out her hand. A small wooden flute, which she had not been holding when she walked in, was in her palm. "Music."

Awesome story. I love the way Artemis and Evelinthia seem to be playing match makers.
