Well, me and one of my friends have been making up a little story together... My friends would think it's kinda stupid, so I've decided to post the beginning on here and see if you guys (and girls, I haven't forgotten about you!) like it... If you want me to keep going, then I want at least 1 comment for each section... And, if you have any ways of making it better, please tell me!
Okay, here goes... I guess...
The forest was peaceful... It always was. The birds chirped, calling for mates. The squirrels chattered, warning one another to stay away from certain trees and nuts. Below, a weasel sniffed the air, seeming to look for food.
A river gurgled nearby, adding to the peace and tranquility of the forest surroundings. Leaves in trees rustled, almost seeming to whisper to one another. To an untrained ear, it was just peaceful noise. But to Kaya, it was a warning. Something bad was coming...
Kaya was a young elf. Her pointed ears were visible from underneath her cloak. Soft features outlined the girl`s face. Light brown eyes, curved eyebrows, a pair of small red lips, and a pale complexion. Dark brown hair fell onto her face and the wind played with it. Even by elven standards, she was a beautiful girl. A dark blue cloak flowed around her, it's hood over her head. Pale green and tan clothing was underneath, almost making her blend into her surroundings. Twin daggers hung at her hips, ready in case she ever needed them.
Something was coming... What, the trees didn't specify. They didn't have time. Kaya had to hide, and fast...
Quickly ducking down, she blended in with the bushes under the tree trunks. Waiting... For whatever it was to show itself.
It was a man...
An elf, to be more specific. But this wasn't a normal elf... This one's skin was a dark blue colour. His hair was black, and so were his eyes. Though dark in colour, Kaya could see some kindness in them. But that wasn't the point... He was an intruder in the otherwise tranquil forest. And he had to leave.
But he didn't. In fact, he sat down on a nearby rock, throwing off his own cloak. The strange elf sighed and leaned back against the tree behind him, which immediately cried for help. The trees and animals had never seen this kind of person before, whether it be elf, human, or dwarven. "Why did I ever agree to this stupid mission...?" the elf asked himself. "If I had just stayed back at home..." His accent was definately dwarvish, though he was no dwarf.
Kaya decided it was time to find out more of this stranger. "Who are you?" she called.
The strange elf sat up quickly and looked around. "Who's there?" he called. Not being able to see anyone from the position he was in, he stood up. A tree threw an acorn at his head. It hit him with a soft thud.
Kaya surpressed a giggle and asked again. "Who are you?"
The elf looked around again. He smirked. "You can come out, you know. I can see you." He looked straight at Kaya.
She cursed the tree for making him look that way and stood up. "Answer my question," she told him. "Who are you?"
"A traveller who means no harm," he said, his arms outstretched. A large sword gleamed in it's sheath in the afternoon sunlight.
Kaya eyed him suspiciously. "You must be more specific, stranger. What is your name?"
He laughed. "You may have heard of me. My name is Vladimir. Vladimir Hexion."
Vladimir was a famous bounty hunter. Trolls, dwarves, men, elfs, ogres, gollums, he had caught them all. Then sold them to the nearest jail. How could she have not heard of him? Almost all that passed through the Midpoint were criminals, fleeing from him. "Indeed I have," said Kaya. "It is good fortune I am no criminal."
"Indeed," Vladimir replied. "It would be a crime in itself to have to capture one so fine."
