 Music, injuries, and baseball
Hey, me again!
I don't really care if no-one is reading my blogs anymore.
No-one ever really did anyways, so whatever.

Anyways...

Over the winter, I messed my knee up pretty bad. I was practicing my baseball swing but I went down too low, jamming my knee into concrete. My coaches forced me to go to physiotherapy, which kinda sucked. I was given excercises to do, but I never really did them because of all the other stuff I had to do anyways. I was also given a brace and was told to wear it for the rest of the baseball season (which isn't much longer now). But no matter what I do, my knee won't get any better. I'm done with physiotherapy now, so I can't really ask the therapist what to do next session or anything... Injuries that last really suck... Any injuries that prevent you guys from doing stuff you like?

But, I'm still playing baseball. If the coaches see me limping or anything, though, they make me sit for a few innings and probably won't put me back in the game. But I don't really care about that. I keep getting injured all the time anyways. I'm a backcatcher in baseball (the person behind the plate with all the equipment) and I always get hurt there. The other day while playing baseball, I was hit in the back with a baseball when I was batting, I cought the ball wrong and it bent my thumb back when I was catching behind the plate, my knee was hurting from all of the running I did in outfield afterwards, and when I turned to watch the ball go when the batter hit it a pop fly, I got smacked right where neck and shoulder meet (which, lucky me, is right before the padding starts when you're backcatcher!). Really sucked, but I sucked it up and continued playing for that day and the day after. Baseball really hurts... If anyone tells me that baseball is a woosie sport, I'm gonna make them play and see how they like it!

I also kinda have a new hobby. Well, it's more like an old hobby with a new twist. I've always loved music, and have played bass guitar since I was 7. This year I've started to play guitar. Like, REAL guitar. I only have an acoustic one, though. If thoughts.com ever lets me, I'll see if I can post me playing a few songs on my guitar. There won't be any lyrics, though (hell no!) because I really suck at singing.

Anyways...

Thanks for reading!

Hey, you do this for yourself, dammit, it's always nice to have people read, but not necessary, anyway... I grew up playing softball and bowling, but because of only being able to use my left arm all my life it's starting to kinda give out on me so I can't really do those things anymore, at least not as aggressively as I want to, I want to use a sixteen pound ball, I don't want to use a damn twelve pounder!
