| The People In My Life (The Intro)

I'm going to make an ongoing post - highlighting what I've learned from important people in my life. It could be good, it could be bad, it could be about me, or them, or about life in general. I'm going to try and keep it real and funny - real funny. Hopefully those who read this can learn something that others have first been able to teach me. For example - My Grandma - I've learned what it truly means to be the glue that holds a family together. She's had some tough fucking times with her children. One's been married to an extremely abusive asshole - perhaps even the devil himself, one's a crack addict, one's dead, and the final one has had a handful of DUI's. Yet, we continue on as a family because we all know that no matter how bad it gets, we can go to her and she'll set us straight. She doesn't mince words. She has more than once told me what she thought of my at-the-time girlfriends. You would think that as much B.S. as our family has been through, that we'd be detached from each other and reality, but Grandma has been there to keep us together. Ok - that one isn't as fun as some will be, but it's real.
