We had a great New Years Eve :) We stayed in, of course, and had a few drinks and watched a few movies (Vacancy - which was horrible, and Eastern Promises - which I couldn't even begin to tell you what the plot was about). Then my bf got a bit fiesty - totally out of character, probably due to the alcohol - and we ended the night with a bang to say the least :D
I've always sort of believed that say that however you spend New Years Day is how you'll spend the upcoming year. So, I cleaned the place top to bottom yesterday and am now doing six loads (yes six!) of laundry. As soon as I finish this I am planning on making my new office, starting with the assembly of my new desk - I hope it goes ok!
I have also begun my new diet. It's pretty easy - 1800 calories per day to start with, then dropping down to 1500. Last time and the only time, I lost a lot of weight I was a meticulous planner - I always had my meals plan at least one day in advance. That's what I need to do this time.
Finally, as many people are doing today, I'm sure, here is my list of resolutions (on a side note, someone showed me this article: www.startribune.com/lifestyle/family/12897676.html It's about how to make resolutions that 'stick'. I think mine fit the criteria...)
1 - Lose 25 pounds by June
2 - Go to the gym enough to get the health insurance kick backs every month (8 times per month - easy!)
3 - Go grocery shopping before the house is completely foodless!
