First of all and, apparently, the most important:
Merry Christmas, people!!!!!
Though, here, in Ukraine, we selebrate it the other day - on 7th January :)
In my country the main winter holiday is the New Year's day. It is when our Father Frost comes to our children, when we give and receive our gifts, when we decorate our "Christmas" tree, when there are fireworks all around cities, when people are crazy about happiness... Several years ago it was also a family holiday, when we gathered around a large table and ate, drank, talked, had fun and anjoed time with each relative who could come.
But nowadays there are more and more people who tend not to celebrate New Year at home with family, but to go out. It's not only about teenagers, but about all ages. As for me, it's been more than a few years when I spent my holiday with friends, not with family. And this year won't be an exception. My parents with my younger brother have already bought their tickets for the New Year's party in the club.
The most difficult point about New Year for me is choosing gifts for everybody. I never know what to give people as a present... This year is the same. What makes it harder is the necessity to choose a nice and pleasant present for my boy-friend... I'm in ambarassment... It seems to me, it's much more easier to select a gift for a girl. There are a lot of things every girl would be happy to receive. And as for guys... Well, I don't have almost any ideas. (certainly, if SOCKS or CUP doesn't counts :) lol). Do you?
Well, once again:
happy holidays to everybody!!!
