what is love? is it the opposite of hurt, of everything that feels wrong. the opposite of destruction? of a ruined, lonely fate?

this book makes it seems otherwise. its almost as if the author was confused and had no idea what love was, so she wrote a book to figure it out. her idea of love is seriously warped, and completely unpure. but than, it IS a vampire book...what ELSE did you expect???

anyways, im not blaming her. MOST books ((especially romances)) get it wrong. actually, im not sure ive ever WITNESSED an accurate literary representation of true love....

what is love? what is right? what is wrong?

this book has me wondering myself what love is to me, and im sure bella is having just as much trouble. but honestly, i dont think that she TRULY loves edward. i think she LUSTS after him, and can you blame her? hes a vampire, of COURSE she is going to lust after him. thats what he was made for. lust is an extremely unheathly obsession, that can be detected through infatuation, longing, and tingling when they touch your skin.

or atleast i THOUGHT.... BUT than doesnt that all describe love? in most fairy tales...the answer is YES.

but in my case, i think that love is the exact opposite of what we think it is, and its always standing off in the background, hiding in its little corner, perfectly content to wait for us to stop being badgered, and flattered, and bemused, by lust.

lust is tricky. but you often find out that it was lust and not love at all, when its too late. and than you hurt, because you really were LONGING for love. thats what you wanted. love doesnt hurt! the dissapointment of a disquised lust that finally shows you its true colors is what hurts!!!!

its the LACK of love. the feeling that youve LOST your love. that hurts....

thats why i think that bella is REALLy in love with jacob. i think though, edward loves bella....

either that or he just knows that shes going to taste REALLY good ;)

and thats why he tried to keep himself away from her. because he knows she lusts after him, and he wants her to love him.

you cant love something that doesnt have a soul......

not for long anyway. not unless your lacking in that department too.

i hope this series will end up kind of like the UGLIES did.

im rooting for jacob. i think jacob and bella were meant to be together. i think that edward makes bellas life WAY yyyyyyy too complicated! do you know how many people she will have to hurt in order to be able to stay with edward????

plus, edward just has to resist his constant want to sink his teeth into her and indulge in her deliciouse luke-warm blood. jacob, when he closes his eyes, can never see ANYTHING but bella. ever. she is imprinted on his heart....

and that is just really cute to me. although i will admit edwards desire for bella IS really hot!

but jacob is just so easy..... bella even said so herself.

so i guess this book isnt even about vampires and wolf-men. what its really about is answering the question "what is love?"

and i honestly cant answer that at all. but i will say this....love should NEVER be complicated. it should be the easiest thing in the whole world!!! if your love is complicated, it means that it is NOT true love at all....

I think bella is so dumb. she is so wrapped up in her infatuation with edward that she cant see how unhealthy her feelings are for him. she is BLINDED. and not by love. by pure lust.

and that is maybe the essance of a vampire in the first place. just a thirst for some burning need that they cannot control, no matter how much they WANT to.

.........damn. i have no idea.

"what is love? baby dont hurt me...dont hurt me. no more..."
