 Will it really be okay?
I really do hate it when people say "It's gonna be okay". Sadly enough, I find myself being one of those people. I often don't know what else to say. Is it better to say nothing at all? There are times when I just need someone to talk to and just have them listen. I don't want to hear it's going to be okay. I know that it will be, but it's not okay at that moment and I just need people to let it not be okay. Just for a little bit.

I hate feeling this way. I hate having these feelings that don't make any sense to me. I just hate it. I know I'm not the only one that has those feelings, but I don't want them. I don't know anymore. I just need to get over it I guess.

you are NOT needing to "get over" anything. you are a sensitive, good person who hasn't been taught to handle having a heart as big as yours. perhaps instead of saying,"everything will be okay," you could say, "sometimes these things can really be troubling. i am here if you would like to blow off steam." no false hope and a sensitive answer. but what do i know?
