The Angie Hart gig was awsome just love her singing and lyrics, the opener act Cookie Baker I'd not heard before but was also fabulous, will have to look for her album that supposed to come out soon.
The pub she played at was great, hadn't been there before nice and informal with couches and intimaite seating, a decent bar (though no pre-mixes) and best of all No Fucking Pokies! seriously if I had the cash I'd buy the place. I just had such a prefound 'this is me' kinda feeling, was a great night.
She loved it too, wich is a bonus, she knew of but had not seen Angie before, but I'd say by the nodding, tapping and swaying She was into it. That and asking if I had a copy of Angies stuff she could borrow :P
As usual after a few drinks I was quite talkative, thankfully though I didn't say anything too stupid. although more time I spend talking to her the more I feel I can Actually (not just think/imagine but Actually Feel) I can say anything with no fear of judgement or misunderstanding, She always asks for clarification on anything I say She's not sure of before forming an opinion, *sigh* I'm way too used to people thinking I'm 'a bit out there' so hold back or filter alot of what I say/think.
But everytime I meditate/pray/clear my mind, whatever ya wanna call it, I keep being told to "Be Patient" so I say then what? and "When you get what is right, You will have to be patient with that too" .. Blah.
I want patience and I want it now! LOL
