I went to a training meeting today as i am a leader of rainbows.
For those of you who are reading this and thinkin what the hell is rainbows.. i will explain. Any girl aged five to seven can be a Rainbow. In Northern Ireland only, a girl may become a Rainbow at any time after her fourth birthday. Rainbows like guides and brownies we are part of the girl guide association. Guding goes throughout the world. We and a fellow sisters in guiding take great pride in the association.

Anyway back to the meeting. It was really good fun. Shame i missed the train and was a tiny it late but these things happen. We had a section meeting in the morning... and i realized the leader of my group is doing everything wrong so i am very angry because she now wants to leave so that will mean starting from scratch. Means new uniform, books, and everything which will cost my a small fortune to get runnin. I bought a few bits today so i can get reading about what things i need to do and how things need to change. So hopefully when i take over as leader things will be good and right how they should be.
Anyway after a very nice buffet lunch we did a really cool task which was really good fun where we had to plan a day out for two packs of rainbows. They made it all proper with a little travel booking office where you booked the transport... venue booking office.. press office.. the comminsioner... and even mentors to make sure ur doing it right.. It was really good fun and i am even thinking of taking my rainbows out for the day. As rainbows turns 21 next year we could have a little 21st party or picnic something really nice for the girls. Oh i wanna plan stuff now :D
