My first meeting with my new counselor..and I'm pretty nervous...I mean, I'm just a little un-knowing about the procedure...Do they mainly just ask you questions about yourself the first time or what?

typically they start a basis. they find out why you're there and what goals you have for being there. It could be anything from past issues and overcoming them or current ones and how to deal with them.

The first time i went, she had me talk alittle bit about myself to get to know me. But I also was there for a long time. She asked me the reason i felt i needed to see a therapist. She asked me questions about my mom, dad, and dillon. (the reasons i was going) stuff like that. It's pretty casual the first day. But good luck, tomorrow. Hope it goes well for you.
