| What if... An introduction to strange thoughts |

What would the world be like, if...
and that is the question I have been asking myself (among many others) during all those sleepless nights.
Okay, fear of death away, this is not meant to open a discussion on religion or what people expect from life and after...
I have been thinking - no, really - that it would be very possible that everybody on this planet we call earth has a different perception of her or his surroundings, speaking of the rest of the world...
We are all individuals, by definition and in many cases, though not often entirely so, by self - regard.
What if we actually were that individual and each of us lived in our own little world?
And I do not mean that as all of us being geeks in a way either. I mean...
What if we were all completely different species and had totally different external appearances from one another?
What if the languages we communicated in on a daily basis were actually not the same?
We would be speaking to one another and it would make perfect sense to each individual, but the context might be completely different for either person.
Let me give an example:
Person A meets person B in the street. Told from A's perspective, with B's in addition:
A: "Oh, hi Peter! I haven't seen you in ages, how are you?" (Actually meaning it)
B: "Hi, great to see you again! When was the last time? Must have been at that summer ball you went to with that bloke... Oh, what was his name again?"
(Meaning: "I don't have any time to talk to you, you horrible something! I need to feed!")
A: "...Dan, that's his name, yeah, that's long over. Anyway, have you moved into that new house yet?"
B: "Yes, moved in last month actually, it's very comfortable. How about coffee? Are you free?" (Meaning: "Hmmm, I really need to run, otherwise I won't make the public feasting on those prisoners. Wanna come along?")
Well, it is difficult. The language A speaks is the same in B's perception, therefore an additional translation from A's language into B's would have to be given here.
In this situation everybody would understand each other on a language basis (up to the standard human beings on earth understand each other, the basis being language skills), but "translate" the said into their own language.
How REAL could this be now? What sort of world are we living in?
I am not presenting a theory in which the world is inhabited by aliens which live hidden amongst members of society.
I am also not trying to create a weird hypothesis all evidence for which is missing...as there is none.
I cannot prove that whoever reads this might be reading and re-interpreting it subconsciously, not even knowing the intended content of this text.
My intention is to work on this. If the world I am living in is not like this, I can at least try and create one which comes close...
Enjoy!
