 The sun peeked out for a little while. Then, the snow warnings came! I like the snow. It is a good time to stay home and keep warm. Just leave the wind out of the picture. It really makes the air too cold. This is the time of year between the weather and the holidays, dates rarely come unless you are already involved with someone. No one wants to bother with 'do I get her a present, or not'. I haven't heard of many people getting asked out on a first time date before Christmas. Some have before New Year's Eve. Maybe they would like to see if they are a nasty drunk or funny one before they decide to keep dating the person. It is really a quick way to end a relationship. I know a guy that met a gal from Russia at a New Year's Eve party three years ago. They were married this past year. At least she wasn't a 'mail order bride'. I was happy for him. Some one mentioned to me the other day that maybe I should make a trip to Alaska. Stay for two weeks and see if I can get a good man from there. That is a thought. I always wanted to take one of those Alaska Cruises. I need to learn to go place by myself. That way maybe I could have the 'pick of the litter'!
