I am a Girl Gamer

So I am a girl and I play computer games and I don't just mean those stupid games that the companys try and make for girls, I mean like the games that guys play on to. Have you ever seen those games why the hell would I want to take barbie shopping or dress her or something like that, I never like barbie as a child let alone as an adult.

I never really thourght myself to be a gamer untill my boyfriend pointed it out to me, he of course loves computer games but he by his own words states that he is a geek. So i asked him want the differents was between a gamer and a geek surely they are more or less the same? No he told me that he was a geek and I was a gamer because I just really played the games but don't want to know things like how it all works or anything else to do with computers, that and I don't like sci-fi.

I have always enjoyed playing computer games but since Oct this year I have become maybe alittle addicited to one online game, world of warcraft but then some bad stuff happened in Oct. I guess most people wouldn't think it that bad but to me is was pretty up setting, you see earlier this in April I had decided that I wanted to be a vet nurse but I would have to go back to college to be able to do the training for it. So I appled to do a course in animal management I went to the interveiw and did all the little tests and got in. Over the summer I started to get ready cutting my hours down at work, applying for a loan to cover the tution fees and buying all the stuff I would need, come September I enrolled but hadn't heard about my loan but the staff at the college didn't seem to worry and said it can take awhile. Anyway come mid Oct I had been at the college for about a month when I get a letter back for the student load people and guess what it said, you can not get a loan because the course is not high enough. I was gutted I had to leave because I couldn't afford the fees on my own so after this I wanted to get away from the real world and I already played on WOW (world of warcraft) just not that often but now its everyday for atleased 2-4hours.
At the end of Oct Steve (boyfriend) got his own account so we could play together, Sunday is now our WOW day, every Sunday he comes over to my parents (we did live together last year but he lost his job and now he's at college) to use the wireless interenet and so we spend the whole day playing.

Needless to say Steve loves this new WOW obession, not only do I play it alot I talk about it to and he doesn't have his girlfriend nagging at him to stop playing so much like his friends do because i most likely play on it more than he dose.
                                     Anyway thats all for now but I could write more but I think bored people enough, Sorry about any spelling and other mistakes its not really my strong point.
