Fibromyalgia Syndrome

A malaise of body...
In rising, I am so sore, agony binds me; I bend beyond my years.
Daily ailing inside, begins,
No end in bearing as syndrome flares, drains me as I labor on.
I moan, I bemoan, as my body fails me some days.
I imagine fine days of no more ailing!
I am sad, angry, mad, dismal, sore.
On bad body days, I resign from normal life.
I sob.
Does my body obey me?
No, sadly.
I sob, and I yearn for an end of bearing my malaise.
I long for, sadly.
as syndrome lingers on and on, no end.
Days, years, go by... agony remains my bride, my groom;
my life in a bind.
A malaise lies, residing in my ailing body.
My limbs are so sore on so many days.
Damn grim malady!
Drearily, grimly, morosely I go on.
My days are abnormal, my arms, legs, brain...
damn, my ears are also sore!
I amble in my agony. I brood, I drool, I sob, again.
Am I dying?
No, I am only in daily agony.
Agony looms in my body
and, soon, my sore areas magnify in my nodes, my meridians.
Infirm, inflamed, so sore, am I.
THE BASIC RULES FOR LEXIGRAMMING AND ANAGRAMMING

1. Use any and all letters from the source to create/find words when Lexigramming.

Add none, remove none.

2. When Anagramming, use all the letters from the source by rearranging only to find/create words, with no letters left over.

Add none, remove none.

3. Do not add or remove any letters from the name or phrase etcetera before starting to Lexigram or Anagram it. If you do remove any letters, be they consonants or vowels, your resulting Lexigram or Anagram will not be based on the Name etcetera you chose to divinate.
There are several styles of lexigramming, however, each with its own unique process used in this selection process. Those will be described later.

To start out, we’ll use the Pure Lexigram style here.

With this technique, there are no permutations, it is a “straight shot” approach to lexigramming: if you have the letters, use them. Do not add or remove any.

Once you have a list of words, they can be arranged into a phrase that relates back to the original phrase.

(Alternate ways of how to find or acquire your words will be discussed later)

As an example; let’s demonstrate with the word NORTH. Using that as our source, we now need to determine which words are ‘hidden’ within it. Look at the letters in this word: N-O-R-T-H. What other words can you make from those letters? Can you find OR, HOT, NOR, NOT, THOR? What other words can you find in NORTH?

To compose a lexigram, string these words together to make a new phrase. One possibility is HOT OR NOT.

The source phrase can be any string of characters – a name, a date, a title, phrase, etcetera. The only requirement is that the phrase be composed of letters. You can lexigram any phrase, such as “Bobby Smith”, “August Third”, or “Nabisco Crackers”. Any numbers in the phrase must be spelled out using the word (“August 3rd” is incorrect, one must use “August Third”).

When Anagramming one is confined to being allowed to only rearranging the source, and

When Anagramming;

ONE MUST USE ALL THE LETTERS FOUND IN THE SOURCE BEING ANAGRAMMED!

Some actually have the misconception that anagrams are word lists of words found within the source being Anagrammed.

The words found from the phrase, name, word, etcetera;

Are the Lexigram Words.

These words use any and all letters on an individual "WORDS" basis.

Anagramming requires one to use all the letters in total, and by simply rearranging those letters to form new words without any letters left over.

to be continued...
Question:
"What if you were using a word or term in one language eg French but you speak English. Is it acceptable to find both English and French words in the original French term? Are we confined to just sticking with the one language to match the original words?"
Answer:
We are a multilingual people on this planet.
English is a melting pot language containing the words from many different languages down through time.
I personally see no valid reason to exclude any words simply because they are not in English.
For example:
The word "LOVE" is very rare to most folks' names.
What is they want "LOVE" in their name/Lexgram?
They may not have "LOVE", but may have any of these for example:
amour
amore`
ami
Eros
Agapē
Storge
amado (sweetheart)
amante (sweetheart)
amistad (friendship)
amor (pure love, romantic love)
"Love" as a verb

* amar (to love, to love romantically): Te amo. I love you.
* encantar (indicating strong like): Me encanto escribir. I love to write.
* gustar mucho (indicating strong like): Me gusta mucho este sofá. I love this sofa.
* querer (to love romantically, to want): Te quiero. I love you.

Phrases using "love"

* amarío (love affair)
* amor a primera vista (love at first sight)
* amor mío (my love)
* aventura amorosa (love affair)
* canción de amor (love song)
* carta amatoria (love letter)
* carta de amor (love letter)
* enamorarse (to fall in love with): Me enamoré de una bruja. I fell in love with a witch.
* estar enamorado (to be in love): Estoy enamorada de él. I am in love with him.
* flechazo (love at first sight): Fue flechazo. It was love a first sight.
* love story (historia de amor)
* love token (prenda de amor)
* hacer el amor (to make love)
* lance de amor (love affair)
* me quiere, no me quiere (she loves me, she loves me not)
* mi amor (my love)
* no se llevan bien (there is no love lost between them)
* no se tienen ningún aprecio (there is no love lost between them)
* periquito (love bird or parakeet)
* por el amor de (for the love of): Por el amor de una rosa, el jardinero es servidor de mil espinas. For the love of a rose, the gardener is the servant of a thousand thorns.
* por nada del mundo (not for love nor money)
* por pura afición (for the pure love of it, just for the love of it): Toca el piano por pura afición. She plays the piano just for the love of it.
* relaciones sexuales (love making)
Lexigrams have been around since ancient times.
Lexigramming and Anagramming and were popular word play games at the turn of the 19th.& 20th. centuries.
However...
Many folks heard about Lexigrams by way of Linda Goodman's
chapter....not a book...about her personal experiences with discovering them.
The word LEXIGRAM(S) was already being used in ape/primate communication studies
before she then later applied the term to this free form style of word play.
This form of word play has been around as long as Anagramming, which is thought to have "officially" begun with the Greek poet Lycophron.
Lycophron
Lexigramming was however, most likely, already a popular past time, which Lycophron simply documented and is thereby remembered for it.

My family called it; as far back as anyone remembered, back to the 1800s:

LEXAGRAMMES and LEXAGRAMMING.
My partner's family called it for at least as far back as the early 1900s:
LEXAGRAMS and LEXAGRAMMING.
A friend who would be over 110 years old if she were alive today..
called it:
NAME/WORD SCRAMBLE...(not SCRABBLE.)
Other names I have heard (there are more)Lexigramming called by oldtimers are:
NAME FRENZY
BREAKOUT WORDS
MYSTERY WORDS
DECODER
SHAKEUPWORDS...(a homemade game where pennies with letters marked on them are put in a jar or can, shook, dumped, then each player takes 50 tiles or lettered pennies and sees who can get the most words the fastest. There are two ways to play, and if anyone is interested I will describe it.

<atom:content type='html'>
    				 Question:
"North contains the words Not Hot which is meant to be associated with the original word, yes? So in essence, north is not hot...but I live in Australia, and North is VERY hot...in fact alot hotter than south which is not hot (but does not contain those words). Given this discrepancy relating to geography, are there rules or considerations in lexigramming that address this?"
Answer:
I have pondered that one too for some time.
Hmmmmm...
How about...

LEXIGRAM of NORTH (from a Northern & Southern hemisphere perspective)
OH NO!
TORN TO NTH!
NORTH?
HOT OR NOT?
TORN TO HOT NORTH.
TORN TO NOT HOT NORTH.
NORTH,
HOT?
OR NOT HOT?

**Torn=a question, undecided
Nth=as in to the "nth degree"
Punctuation also aids in helping a Lexigram
make sense.

OK...
How about this?

LEXIGRAM of NORTH (from a Southern Hemisphere perspective)

TO NORTH HOT!
OH NORTH HOT HOT HOT!

LEXIGRAM of SOUTH (from a Northern hemisphere perspective)

OH SOUTH SHOUT OUT!
OH THOU SOUTH SO HOT HOT HOT!

Obviously the climate conditions of the Southern Hemisphere were not taken unto account by whomever came up with NORTH=NOT HOT.
Many Lexigramming concepts and odd rules stem from, unfortunately
in the last few decades, from a North American or Anglocentric point of view.
That same mindest claims Lexigrams are only to be done or can work only in English. That is NOT TRUE!
Lexigramming and Anagramming was being done long before in many other languages.

_______________________
Words in NORTH

THORN NORTH HORN TORN HON
TOR ROT HOT TON NOR NTH
NOT OH NO OR ON TO HO

LEXIGRAM of SOUTH (from a Northern hemisphere perspective)
TO SOUTH
OH SO HOT.
OH SO HOT HOT OUT!
OH HOT SOUTH SHOUT OUT!
HOT! SO HOT!
OH THOU SOUTH..
SO HOT! HOT! HOT!

OK…now we must consider SOUTH from a Southern Hemisphere perspective!

TO SOUTH SOUTH
There are more complex rules when it comes to Lexigramming two or more people's names.
One does not simply combine the two or more names.
Many however do.
The problem is that it can reveal much, but can too often give the other person(s) attributes they simply do not have as an individual.
(examples of that will be given later)

There are 4 elements involved in a true "Relationship Lexigram".
1.Unique...words only found as individual names
2.Compatibility...words both/all have in common
3.Union...words which can only be formed from the names of both/all person(s) names.
4.Relationship...the Unique, Compatibility, Union words found and "weighted".
_______________________________________
IMPROPER and INVALID lexigramming examples.
A Lexigram or Lexigram word list which has the word "AND" added
to the names of two real life people's names is not valid.
ALL couples by that token would acquire the letters A-N-D.
The word AND is NOT a natural valid part of their real names and should not be added to their names to be Lexigrammed, as with any other word which is not part of their real names.
With the word "AND" added, it should NOT be deemed a RELATIONSHIP
LexIgram, or a real life couple's Lexigram word list.
Using ONLY the first name of each person, and then adding in "AND",
as in ROMEO AND JULIET,
TOM AND JERRY, MUTT AND JEFF, LAURAL AND HARDY, and so forth,
is not generally valid for real life couples.
Yes, as the name of the PLAY, Romeo and Juliet are valid, but not as a couple.
Tom and Jerry is the name of a cartoon.
Abbot and Costello, Laural and Hardy, names of comedy TEAMS.
Ben and Jerry an ice cream company.
Like Arm and Hammer or Proctor and Gamble for a product or company name.
However real life couples should not include "and"
in their names being Lexigrammed.
("THE" is another word of that kind.)
Only the actual names should be used .
Exceptions would be:
Charles and Diana, or George and Gracie...ie; well know public figures. But generally that is pushing the envelope even for such famous couples. The word and should not be added.
If Romeo and Juliet were real people and not characters in a play;
one would Lexigram them as:

"Romeo Montague"
"Juliet Capulet."

However the two full names would not be simply scrambled
together with all the combined resulting words to be used in a Lexigram.

Which takes us back to the subject of Compatibility and Union Lexigrams,
which when combined result in a Relationship Lexigram.
If one desires to use words unique to each only as individuals,
the weight of importance for those words are not as high in regards to a
Compatibility or Union Lexigram.

To continue with the subject of Romeo and Juliet.
One would not add "AND" to the two REAL LIFE peoples' names.
If we were speaking of a real couple known as Romeo/Juliet, an entirely different picture, a true one would emerge, not a padded one inflated by the word AND they would not have if they were real people.
A Couples' Relationship.Union, or Compatibility Lexigram is done using your actual names, one each or both full names. And the word "AND" should NOT be added.
On top of that, what if neither name had a letter "D", but did have the letters E A T H?
By adding in the word "AND" the couple would acquire DEATH in their Lexigram and word list.
Adding the word "AND" falsifies the results, as by that token and method,
ALL couples would acquire the added A-N-D. including words not actually found within their actual names, thereby invalidating the resulting Lexigram.

ROMEO**JULIET have within their blended names:
Approximately 250 words.
ROMEO AND JULIET have an artificially padded inflated invalid word list of over
1,700 words!
Adding "AND" to Romeo/Juliet gives them for example; these words NOT ACTUALLY found within their names! Yes it fits them, but with an over 700% INCREASE in words causeed by adding "AND"...of course one can come up easily with phrases which fit ANYONE!
ENDEAR DUO DAMN MOURNED MAIDEN DIRE END AROUND ENDURE ARDENT AMID ADMIRE
Neither Romeo nor Juliet can acquire any of those words with the letter "D" as individuals, hence no Compatibility, Individual, nor Union Lexagramm, and or Lexigram word list would have those words for them if they were a real life couple and not characters in a play.
Even if they both had the word "AND", it is not right to inflate their words found by adding in an EXTRA added "AND".
Only as the name of the play is the example valid.
An example however based on Romeo/Juilet, (pretending as an example, they were real life people) without the added word "AND", would have for example, when simply blended together;
these words:
ROMEO**JULIET
TURMOIL TREMOLO MOTLIER LOITER ORMOLU ORIOLE METEOR RETOOL JOLTER ULTIMO MOTILE REMOTE TOILER REMELT OMELET MOLTER LOOTER MOULT MERIT MITER MOTOR MOIRE TUMOR MILER ORIEL TILER LITER ILEUM MOTEL UTERI OUTER EMOTE ELITE TIMER METER LEMUR ROUTE MOREL MUTER METRO MITRE REMIT ROMEO RETIE JOULE ROIL RITE JILT RIME JOLT RIOT LIMO ROOT ROUT TRIM ROLE REEL LIME ROOM TERM LOUT LOUR TIRE EMIR TIME LOOT MILT OMIT TOME TEEM TOLE LITE LUTE MERE MUTE MULE LIEU TRIO MOUE ROTE RILE LOOM MOTE OLEO LEER MORE EMIT MOOR TILE TOIL MOLT MOLE MOIL MELT LORE MITE MIRE METE TRUE MILE JEER LURE TREE TOUR TORE RULE TOOL MEET TIER JUTE LIRE MOOT ITEM ROT JUT OUT MIL MET LEE RIM ORE TIE RUT EEL TOE MOT OLE LIT REM RUE EMU IRE LIE MOO TOR LEI TOO LET TOM ERE ROE JOT ELM RUM LOT JET OIL OUR TEE MI UM LO TI OM RE IT ME TO EM MU OR I
However Romeo alone can get these words from the above list:
ROMEO ROOM MORE MOOR ORE REM MOO ROE OM RE ME EM OR
Juliet as an individual alone can get these words:
JILT LITE LUTE LIE TILE JUTE TIE LIT JUT LEI LET JET TI IT I
As anyone can see, they do not have any words in common. hence no Compatibility.
When the above words are eliminated, the words left are the words that can only be created with them as a UNION.
The picture changes drastically when their full names are used.
Only by using their full names, Romeo Montague/Juliet Capulet do they acquire;

TRAGIC ROMANCE.

Then by adding a Compatibility word, a word they both have as individuals, and so have in common, in their full names; one can clearly see, they have;

A TRAGIC ROMANCE.

To restate:
Adding "AND" to their names is valid ONLY because it is the name of a PLAY.
If they had been an actual real life couple, it would be an error to insert the word "AND".
to be continued...
After giving a person the list of names found within their name;
they asked:

"Thanks! That was some name list you came up with! But surely all those names do not have a meaning for me? I am confused...just because you find a word in your name, does it have to relate to your life in some way? Or are there some words in there that are just random?"

I replied:
Ever see the movie, "The Messenger"?
Jean thought the sword she found in a field had come down miraculously from God to her.
Then the character played by Dustin Hoffman said in response to her claims..something to this effect:

"Sometimes a sword is just a sword"

Well on that note, a name is a word or words.
Sword=Words  when Anagrammed.
ie;

"Sometimes a word is just a word".

I like seeing how many folks I have actually met are found in my name, and historical figures.
Oddly many of the names I find in my name are not those closest to me!
Mostly I feel its usually just for fun. Just an intriguing diversion.

Lexigramming and Anagramming is a form of Divination in the Mantic Arts arena.
As with any form of divination or analysis, one can take it seriously or just for fun, or anything in between.

"Never base your important life decisions on any form of Divination, be it Lexigramming, Anagramming, Astrology, and so forth. These things can assist in your decisions, but ultimately one should make decisions based on logic and common sense."
Bringing The Ancient Methods into Our Age!

Teachings in the last decades of the 20th. Century pulled away from the Ancient
Gnosis and power of words, spoken, heard, and written.
The Earth was once thought to flat.
The Sun was once thought to revolve around the Earth.
Most know better now!
The same goes for the popular misinformation and misconceptions
about Lexigramming and Anagramming being promoted,
which are unlike
True Lexigramming by the Ancient Method which predates any
method devised and promoted in the last decades of the 20th. century and still
being promoted in the 21st. century.
Welcome to Lexigrams and Lexigramming for everyone
without arbitrary unproven limits and Anglocentric mindsets.
No alterations of the sources of the Name, phrase, or date being
Lexigrammatcally Divined live here in the Ancient Method of Lexigramming.
Any name, phrase, date etcetera can be Lexigrammed
contrary to the teachings of those not following the
Ancient Method of Lexigramming and Anagramming.
No letters are ever excluded from the source.
No letters are ever added that are not found within the source.
Many folks heard about Lexigrams by way of Linda Goodman's
chapter....not a book...about her personal experiences with discovering them.
The word LEXIGRAM was already being used in ape/primate communication studies
before she then later applied the term to this free form style of word play.
This form of word play has been around as long as Anagramming, which is thought to have "officially" begun with the Greek poet Lycophron. History

The vertebrate ear shows a common biology from fish to humans, with variations in structure according to order and species. It not only acts as a receiver for sound, but plays a major role in the sense of balance and body position.

The word "ear" may be used correctly to describe the whole vertebrate ear, or just the visible portion. This syllable is sometimes called the "Udgitha" or "pranava mantra" (primordial mantra), because it is considered by Hindus to be the primal sound, and because most mantras begin with it. The fifth is the interval found in most sacred music and has a powerful harmonizing effect on the human energy system. The fifth is the first harmonic sounded by a plucked string and gives the note its depth and beauty. This music–geometry connection is well stated in the poet-mystic Goethe’s phrase that ‘sacred architecture (or human body proportion!) is frozen music.’

"Since its discovery by Pythagoras, the fifth has come to be universally recognized for its beauty…the fifth is an archetypal expression of harmony that demonstrates the ‘fitting together’ of microcosm and macrocosm in an inseparable whole. The fifth is a beautiful sound because it demonstrates how the universe works." ‘The Harmonic Lyre’ Stephen Ian McIntosh

All of creation expresses itself through number and number is frequency, manifest as color, sound and form, and even as emotion and states of consciousness. The effects of harmonious design based on sacred proportions can be experienced first hand when one enters an ancient temple in Egypt or a Gothic cathedral, such as Chartres. The effect can be immediately sensed as harmonious, powerful and centering, and being inside a space designed with sacred proportions helps us to access other dimensions of consciousness.

"The most common proportions found in ancient Egyptian temple architecture correspond to the most harmonious intervals found in music: the octaves, fifths, fourths, thirds and sixths. In the temple of Horus at Edfu, the dimensions of one chamber's measurements of width to height equaled 2:3, which defines an interval of a fifth in music. ‘Rediscovering Music in the Architecture of Egyptian Temples’ by Antoine Seronde.

This expansion and transformation experienced by being inside a sacred space, can also be reached directly through listening to sacred music, or ‘aural geometry’. Most divinely inspired music, such as Gregorian chant, some ‘new age’ music, and the music of indigenous cultures, features the musical interval of the fifth. An easy way to understand a musical ‘fifth’, would be to use the white keys of a piano, and play middle C and counting C as the first note, play the fifth key up, which is G.

The Egyptians utilized musical scales analogous to our own. The positions of the harpists' hands on the strings clearly indicate ratios such as the fourth, fifth and octave, revealing an unquestionable knowledge of the laws governing musical harmony. Lucy Lamy, Egyptian Mysteries (Thames and Hudson 1981)

The basic chords of most western music are made of a combination of a fundamental tone, a fifth with a third, or in the case of a C chord, the notes C-E-G, the first, third and fifth notes. However, when we leave out the third (E), the chord sounds distinctly ancient or sacred. I can remember that when I first began teaching myself to play the harp, I tended to play mostly in fifths, just because I liked the sound and the feeling effect of being centered and expanded when playing them. At that time I was not consciously aware of the harmonious principles at work. During those early days of my ‘harping’, I had a music colleague who played in symphony orchestras, who commented: ‘didn’t I play anything other than temple music?’

Another excerp:

Author John Michell has researched the tradition of ‘perpetual choirs’, in ancient Britain. According to Michell, these choirs were maintained in Britain in at least three sites: Glastonbury, STONEHENGE and Llantwit Major in Wales, which together form the rim of a circle in the landscape, with the center at an old Druid site called Whiteleafed Oak. He found the distances between these sacred sites to be equal and corresponding to sunrise points and sacred proportions. Similarly, sacred sites in other cultures were also laid out in geometric relationship, and were maintained with sacred music and chant, which were synchronized with the seasons and cosmic cycles.

For more see:
