Staring out the opaque glass
The music blaring nearby
I see a distant pair of lights
Coming faster and faster
My lips quickly form just two words
But they are slower than the lights
A noise louder than the music
Resounds throughout my hurting head
Glass shatters, I’m shot forward
Everything I see darkens
I take my final breath
I whisper only two words
If only I could have said them faster
