Too busy to think, then sleeping
Since we got back from Atlantic city I have been so busy I haven't had one second to myself because I had to go straight back to work which consumes all time time when I am working.  My hubby is still on vacation so he was home with me today so we hung out together, did some shopping for boy #3 who is having his sixth birthday tomorrow and I took a nap.

I feel sorta out of sorts since I got up from my nap, I call it nap hangover but it is compounded by the fact that my "little visitor" as the ladies of old used to call it, came to call and that always wipes me out for a good two days.  I am happy that I didn't have my usual week of hell prior to the "visit".

We had a great time in Atlantic city and didn't loose any money and came home with more than we left with.  My game is roulette and the board was paying me big time.  Hubby plays three card poker and he did well at that too.  We like to gamble but not too much and we always put the winnings away as we win so we don't loose our shirt.  It feels good to come home with hundreds in your wallet.  Now when we went to Vegas we were not so smart and came home with nothing but enough money to get home from the airport.  We have learned a lot since then.

Since our argument a few weeks back my hubby has really been responsive and wonderful.  I almost feel guilty because he is doing so much.  He let me sleep in this morning and got the kids off to school, he is cooking dinner right now and he even changed the sheets on the bed and made it before I got home from work last night. (I had asked him to do that, but I really didn't expect it.)

My laundry is so behind because we were gone last week that tomorrow I have to spend the entire day getting it done plus clean the house.  I was proud of myself today though.  I usually can't leave the house unless it is clean and today I just walked right out, went shopping and to lunch without cleaning it.  Of course I have since picked up the obvious things but I am learning that the world will not end if my house doesn't look like a picture out of Better Homes and Gardens.

Time to go check boy #1's homework, he is a sneeky little cuss and will say it is done, when in fact it is not.

guilt is a worthless feeling! Remember, take care of yourself first, be good to yourself or you wont be around to take care of anybody else. I have a friend who says... Listen to what they say every time you are on an airplane. always put the oxygen mask on yourself before assiting others!!! makes sense
