 I'd like your personal oppinion.

With out me telling you what I believe in... I'd like to read your thoughts on a topic...

Here's the topic..

Do you believe Catholic churches are more about a business or more for the faith aspect? ...

I'd love to know what your thinking... please don't be shy..

I'm never a person to bring up religion in conversation... but I'm curious to see how everyone else feels on it.

I do believe it is more of a business for the majority of them.

I noticed with the church my mom used to make me go to they would tell you to put money in the poor box before you left, which I don't think they really had the right to say but the church I used to go to was all about money, thats only one church but I see business in that, I cant anything about any other church

Any religion that asks you to go to church and then asks for money is a business but it is your choice to go and your choice to pay for religion, I myself am spiritual and don't consider the house of worship very important.

i think that it depends on which Church you go to... i was raised Catholic and i have been to many churchs because my family moves alot-- some churchs are all about the money and usually they are bigger churches with like awesome sound systems and such but i have also been to a few smaller churches where the priests and sisters were about making people feel like they were close to god instead of how to buy their way into heaven- the smaller churchs were my favorite -- i dont know if i felt "god" persay but i did feel the presence of a higher power -- and smaller churches tend to have better music thats what i thhink anyway

I was riding in the back sit trying all the time to be the driver. I was thinking I was making real good time but I never left the driveway.
Now I'm riding in the front sit but I'm letting the Lord do all the driving. I'm a knowing we're a going at a real high speed and I don't even have a license.

I am not very religious... I don't go to church anymore. I think that my church is a business rather than a religious place...
A really good, non-profit church wouldn't ask you for money to come and pray. All churches should get donations or be payed for by the government in order to keep running. I mean, people in the government are just sitting back and counting the bills they made that hour. Why can't they use it for some good?
