I have a close friend of mine who recently had to go through Chemo for his cancer. He was always sick and never feeling okay until he started smoking, then you couldn't even tell he was sick. My Boyfriend had horrible asthma, he was on a resporater ever since he can remember.. once he started smoking cronic... he hasn't had a problem yet. I think we should be able to make this choice for ourselves and I don't think anyone has a right to judge me on what I do.
Do you realize your "for" and "against" are condridicting each other. I thihnk you should read up on this topic more before trying to state facts... you'd be suprised at all of the heatlh problems it does help with.

Good guys are hard to meet. I tried bars and meeting people through keeping my sources open, tried staying really socialized. Nothing, meet guys okay enought to kiss but never anything more. I'm goona sound like a loser saying this... but I met my boyfriend through myspace, we had a lot of the same firends and had a ton in common, found we had more in common after we met in person. I was really nervouse about it... but 5 years later we live together and have a great relationship/friendship. Godo luck chick and I look forward to reading more of your post.

I've been with my bf for 5 years, living together 1 year and have to dogs with him... I'll wait forever. The more you cut the harder it would be to stop. Belive me. Why try a drug if you don't plan on liking it and doing it? People don't do coke to become coke heads, but thats what happeneds when they end up liking it.
I use to cut, up until a year or so ago when I lost one of my best friends. After her funural I got in to a little spat with my BF, he left, I laid on the floor in my own blood holding my wrist, he came back a few minutes later after he cooled down. It was so hard for me when he had walked in on my dirty little secert, something I've been hiding since I was 11 years old. I was completely ashamed and promised him from then on i'd try and be healthy. You are the only person that can control what you do. I know it takes the pain away for those breif numbing minutes... but the shame last so much longer.
