Well, news for all... I had my second game last night. We played well and won. I caught the whole game, and let me tell you I just felt right at home there. The girl who through, we call her Baz, she's only about 17 and her confidence level is a little weak so I was really wondering how she was going to do against some older players. Though she surprised me, and I loved it, she battled so well, and gave up about 6 hits all of which were scattered for the most part. So proud, it's like watching one of my kids :) Anyways, on a note from me, I batted well, went two for 3 with a double and single, both of which should have been a triple and a double. Reason being I wasn't running as hard as I could have based on the fact that in the second inning I pulled my hammy. yep, it's a little painful today, but with a little rest and the physio of the house looking out for me I should be rarring to go come next weekend which is the big weekend. it's the first tournament that I will play with the State team. I am really starting to fall into a niche with both teams and getting to feel even more comfortable...ahhh it's like college all over again for me right now. All I had ever wanted was to be able to just play ball...you know get up in the morning work out and practice. As for right now, as I am still waiting to find a job, that's what I do. This morning I got up had breakfast, went to the pool did a half hour work out, checked the mail, did some stuff around the house, had lunch, went and worked out with Mikie, then headed to practice....what a day!!! Well, tomorrow is a day without practice so maybe we'll work out and maybe see a movie or something, who knows. I'll be catching up soon....And Go Cards as they take on the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers. Everybody now..AHHHHH.. C.....A....R...D...S.....C-A-R-D-S....C-A-R-D-S Go Cards Go!!!
Cheers for now
