Well for those of you who were wondering I made it here safely. I got here yesterday...which was Monday at around 12 noon. Let me tell you it was one long trip to get here. 14 hours in one airplane, but my inate ability to sleep for 11 hours made the trip pretty easy and to be honest I'm not really feeling to much of an effect of jet lag...thank goodness. So I woke up today and I was the only one awake as John and Mary had already gone to work and I'm pretty sure Mikie can sleep the rest of the day. Walking around this awesome house, walked down to the pool and said good morning to the chickens(can't wait to have some of their eggs!!!) and on my way back up to the house I saw him...yep my first Koala! Well, I don't know if it's a he or a she but IT was gorgeous, I have a couple pics but until I can get my computer functioning you'll have to wait. Let me just say that I haven't seen much of Adelaide yet, but what I have seen it's beautiful, I went to the beach yesterday right after I got here and we went for a little walk, how can you go wrong when you're 20 minutes from a beach? The smells are great, we went for a walk last night with the family dog Molly and I kept smelling something so great and I had no idea what it was and John informed me that it was gum tree!! There are so many things that I can't wait to experience and I'm sure that there will be things that will make me laugh and make my australian family laugh at me:) Yes I do miss you all already and I will be keeping this up to date, please feel free to send emails any time you like.
Cheers :)
