Playing for Pizza:Book Review and Commentary

A light hearted offering from John Grisham who has left the mystery reservation for a couple of books with good results.

The subject, a pro football player who has recently tasted a bitter failure in a Cleveland Browns uniform, cannot find any NFL employment. His horizons are limited so he takes the only job offered and finds himself on a semi-pro team in Italy. The results are laughable and entertaining.

It's a good departure for Grisham.I assume he wrote this book to write off a trip to Italy. It should encourage others to write something in an afternoon as I think that this was written in a pizzaria somewhere in Milan.
