Hello and welcome to anyone brave enough to read this blog.
As my scrapbook store comes to a close, I want to start blogging again - so here I am! I have run www.kristeenascrafts.com for nearly 4 years. It was a hard decision to close the store, but a needed one. Officially, it will be closed on Thursday. I am looking forward to the end. I'm ready to start the next chapter, and I am impatient. I have watched as my inventory of 800+ items dwindle down to slightly over 300. It is sad to see my once full walls of pegboard reduced to one small 4" x 16" board. It will be strange to see my kitchen without pegboards in it. It will be strange to not have to advertise and check for orders daily, but I will get used to it. Well, a couple more days, and it will be over.
I start my new job tonight. Looking forward to it. I haven't had a "real job" in twelve years, and it is time I got back out there.
Two hundred board feet sit in my garage waiting for me to get started on those projects. Two hundred pounds of concrete wait for me to get started on the new chicken coop.
My house looks like twin cyclones have hit it. Two cyclones names Phillip and Samantha, that is. My house is in pitiable condition, and I really want to get it back to a condition I like. Closing the store is taking 90%+ of my time. However, it will be all over soon.
So if you were worrying about what I will do after the store closes, don't worry - I have plenty awaiting me.

Welcome to the site!
I too, am an avid scrapbooker. Enjoyed some success in publication with it as well. I bet it was hard to close the store! Are you going to keep up with the hobby?
